What To Expect On An e3 Expedition

My name is Shawn Sullivan, and my wife is Becky. We've been in ministry for over 40 years.

• We were missionaries with Greater Europe Mission for 15 years. After returning to the States, I became the Missions Pastor with CrossBridge Community Church (CrossBridge Community Church) in  San Antonio, Texas. As the missions pastor, I've trained, equipped teams, and led dozens of outreach teams worldwide for the last 20 years to Mexico, Europe, The Middle East, India, and Africa.
• Because we desire to take the gospel to the nations, I became an e3 Strategy Coordinator for Western Uganda in 2023, with the support and encouragement of our Church.
• I've been leading teams for the last 3 years with e3. First in training and now full-time.

Depending on the team's leadership, we can take 10-20 participants.

The total outreach from departure to return is 12 Full days:

• Wednesday 1—Travel - From Your city to Entebbe
• Thursday 2— Arrive at night and check into the hotel, which is clean, welcoming, safe, and offers good food.
• Friday 3— Recovery, Orientation, Team Building, Spiritual Warfare Training, a wonderful dinner, relaxation, and going to bed.
•  Saturday 4—A Travel day to the site, typically lasting 6 to 8 hours, depending on the location. We meet with the pastors and their leaders in the evening to share, plan, pray, and then go to bed.
• Sunday 5—We attend the host church, PARTICIPATE in their service, SHARE our stories and a short message, EAT lunch, TEACH prayer walking, and GO out for a one-hour prayer walk in the area.
• Monday through Friday: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 — Morning training, afternoon outreach, debriefing, modeling discipleship formation, and understanding what it means to be a healthy house church.
• Friday 10—New believers are baptized around noon in the early afternoon. We celebrate, say our goodbyes, and begin our journey back. As we return, we strive to have a cultural experience.
• Saturday, 11—In the morning, visit the local market to shop for items to bring back. Then, around 8 p.m., head to the airport. The flights depart Entebbe at 10:30 PM and 1 AM, returning to the States.
• Sunday 12—If everything goes according to plan, we will arrive home on Sunday evening, around 8-9 PM.

The goal of the week: To EQUIP God's people to EVANGELIZE their world with  the gospel and ESTABLISH multiplying disciples and House Churches so that everyone in their community hears about the love of Jesus and His message of salvation.

What do we do, and what tools do we use in the field?

• With e3's training, you will be modeling, training, and assisting the Ugandan church to share Christ in their community, make disciples that make disciples, and form healthy House Churches.
• We are using the Core of the Gospel Conversations Training, an e3 Training that equips everyone to make disciple-making disciples wherever they are.
• The Gospel Conversations (4-Fields Approach) follows some of the best practices worldwide for facilitating Disciple-Making and Church-Planting Movements.

$3850 is the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL.

What does that mean?

• It means you'll need to be signed up and registered and have $1600 in your account (to purchase tickets) 90 Days out (thereabouts).
• If you sign up later, there will be an additional charge of $100 to $350 for the ticketing.
  • Based on our experience, this is the worst-case price increase when only 30 to 60 days out.
